The Granada Collection is designed by Nicaraguan Furniture Designer Khurland Lopez in collaboration with MasayaCo. The Collection takes Japanese Design cues and brings it to a California lifestyle. A tribute to traditional artisanry and craftsmanship that honors the traditional and mixes it with a fresh attitude and comfortable shapes that are successful in any interior. Introducing natural wood finishes, rich tones and soft textures. Every purchase grows trees in our reforestation projects in Nicaragua.
Process Sketches 2024
The design process was a collaborative geometric study on the visual balance between basic circular shapes and finding new ways to express traditional woodworking textures and make them in ways that makes these more efficient to produce and reduce waste.
Resulting in a broad collection of side tables, dining tables, and storage pieces.
